Serge to finish the edges before construction.

Sew the dart, reducing the stitch to 1.6 as you reach the point. Tie of the threads.

Press the dart over a ham, with the excess facing down towards the wrist.

Pin the side seams and sew using a 5/8” seam allowance.

Press the seams flat.

This is an inset sleeve, and does not need gathering stitches.
